Personally, I don’t think it’s ever too early to start brainstorming your wedding color scheme (truth-be-told: I had several color schemes in the works before the bf proposed! Shhhh…). It’s one of the first decisions you’ll need to make because it sets the stage for a number of others: bridesmaid dresses, flowers, invitations, etc. But whether you wedding is big, small, vintage or modern – summer, winter, big city or backyard bbq – the task can seem daunting.
With so many choices out there for colors how can you be sure you’re making the right decision. A great place to start is to think about the colors or patterns in your home or in your wardrobe. Is there a trend there? Personally I have a very neutral palette – so chances are my wedding colors will be monochromatic neutrals. But if you love pink or drool over chevron patterns then you’ve got a great place to start.
To help make the task even easier I’ve created a guide that provides some tips on choosing and using those colors throughout your big day!
Happy planning!
