Not every couple knows exactly what they want when it comes to their wedding invitations? Others know exactly what they want and just haven’t found it yet. One of the things I love most about custom work is the opportunity to really get to know each client to ensure that they’ll end up with wedding invitations they are absolutely in love with. You shouldn’t settle for anything less. So you have to ask yourself, “are custom wedding invitations right for me?”
Because Dear LC is a one-woman-operation, I work very closely with all of my brides, custom or not. It’s not enough for me to simply have my clients be satisfied. I want each and every one of you to be excited—absolutely in love—with your wedding invitations.
So what’s different about the custom process?
The custom process starts from a clean slate. During our conversations we talk about everything from the type of wedding you’re having (formal vs. casual, beach vs. ballroom) to the types of stores you shop at and what you and your fiance do for fun. We’ll talk about things you’ve seen at other weddings that you’ve either liked or disliked as well as what’s most important to you about your wedding and your invitations. I actually started Dear LC because I wasn’t satisfied with the invitations I was coming across (and I wasn’t even engaged yet!) and I wanted to be a resource for couples who were in the same boat.
How do I know I’m right for custom invitations?
You’re looking for something truly unique. An invitation that no other bride has had.
You’ve seen a lot of wedding invitations, but nothing that’s truly “you”.
You have an idea but you don’t know how to get it down on paper.
Those are just a few of the top reasons my custom clients come to me. For you, the reason may be different. Or perhaps you just prefer to work with a real-live person. No matter what your reasons, if you’re considering custom invitations, I’m here to help!
